And, all at a price that’s more affordable than care facilities or a visiting nurse.

Frequently Asked Questions
We encourage you to ask us questions! Here are some frequently asked questions with the answers provided for your convenience. If you have a question that is not listed, please ask us directly. We look forward to hearing from you and we pledge to do our best to answer all your questions.
Q. Is the cost for services covered by my health plan?
A. Depending on your coverage and the services required, some of the costs may be covered by your health plan. You will have to ask your health plan provider for details.
Q. Can I pick the services I want?
A. Yes, you certainly can pick and choose the services that you want. You are the customer and you tell us what to do!
Q. How do we start?
A. Give us a call at 866-598-0038 for an initial brief conversation covering any questions you may have. After that we’ll schedule a convenient time to meet with you and your family at home or virtually for the free home care service assessment. During the assessment we talk about the custom care plan considerations like: the level of home care service you need, safety concerns, and activity and dietary likes and dislikes. Once a custom in-home care plan is agreed upon, we match your loved one with the best-suited caregiver or team of caregivers.
Q. What are the office hours?
A. Once care service is established, our clients have an “on call” number that is answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For non-clients: Our office is open 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday and 9am to 2pm Saturday, and the phone is monitored 24 hours a day. If for any reason we are with a family and you need to leave a message, we will call you back within the same business day.
Q. What types of payments do you take?
A. Currently, we only take private pay, VA Aid & Attendance, and Long Term Care insurance.
Q. What additional charges may occur?
A. All service charges are completely detailed and confirmed with client and family before service begins. The only added costs on an invoice would be mileage if a caregiver runs errands for the client or personal purchases like groceries, supplies, etc.
Q. Can you help transition my loved on into or from a facility (assisted living, nursing home, hospital, etc)?
A. Yes! We help loved ones in whatever living environment (be it a facility or home) they are currently in and also if they are leaving their home for another location. Once your loved one moves into the new facility, we also provide personalized care services to help them get accustomed and comfortable in their new environment. In these situations, we are committed to making the transition as easy as possible for not only your loved one, but your family as well.
Q. Are your employees insured and bonded?
A. All of our caregivers are employees, not contractors, of Thrive In Place. We are particular in only hiring caregivers that fit within our company principles and will be compassionate and professional while caring for your loved one. All employees are bonded and insured. After a thorough interview process, we confirm references and caregivers submit to a detailed background check.
Q. Do I get to pick the person looking after me?
A. Yes, if you do not like the match we made, you can help us in finding a better employee match.
Q. Are all your employees nurses?
A. Some are nurses, some are designated health professionals and some are trained caregivers. We match the employee's training to best fit your needs.
Q. Are your employees trained?
A. Yes, most of our employees have specific training in a health discipline or have been trained internally through the Thrive in Place's training program. Our employees are encouraged to continue their education and training throughout their employment with us.
Q. What happens if my caregiver gets sick?
A. We have staff to make certain you always have a qualified caregiver for just this situation. Also, when caregivers have vacations, we provide our clients with notice and replacement information.
Q. Are Thrive in Place, LLC services only available in the home?
A. No, we can provide our services to you whether you live at home, senior's complex, or health care facility.
